The future of our civilization depends on the urban way of life. In 2007, for the first time, more people lived in cities than in rural areas. And global urbanization is increasing rapidly. The ongoing rural exodus to the megacities threatens to devastate both the cities themselves and the country. The city of the future harbors dangerous threats, but also promising opportunities. In order to seize such opportunities, we are building the cooperative new city together with you. Cooperative Nestown is the model for cooperative country towns. The first laboratory was founded in 2010 for this purpose.
It is called Buranest and is located in the Ethiopian region of Amhara
